About Us

Rustic Roots Montana

 We’re a new, locally owned company here in Bozeman, starting small but aiming high. Right now, our focus is on providing the best sprinkler repair and winterization services in the area, delivering quality work and reliable service to every customer.

As we grow, our goal is to expand into full sprinkler system installations and eventually offer landscaping and snow removal services—becoming a one-stop solution for all your outdoor property needs. We’re committed to building our business on hard work, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for helping Bozeman residents keep their yards and landscapes thriving year-round.

 Raised in Missoula, Montana I’ve always had a love for the outdoors. Whether it’s skiing, hunting, rafting, speed flying or just exploring the mountains. My experience in irrigation started with working for a sprinkler company here in Bozeman where I learned how to keep landscapes healthy and functional. After years of gaining experience, I decided to start my own business, bringing together my skills, a strong work ethic, and my passion for working outdoors.

This company is built on doing things right, paying attention to the details, being honest and upfront and respecting the Montana outdoors. I’m excited to meet new people through this work, and every now and then, maybe even share an adventure or two along the way!

Mackenzie - Manager

Born and raised in Montana, Mackenzie has always had a deep love for the outdoors and the adventures it brings. A Montana State University alum, she grew up competing in mogul skiing and continues to enjoy hunting, fly fishing, and mountain biking. Her passion for outdoor pursuits translates into the same energy and dedication she brings to managing operations, ensuring every project runs smoothly and efficiently.

Service Terms and conditions

Thank you for choosing us for your sprinkler and irrigation needs! To help us keep our operations running smoothly and provide you with the best possible service, we utilize the following terms and conditions:


1. Payment Terms

  • 1. Due Date: Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice, which is usually issued the same day of completion of your service call or install.
  • 2. Installations Deposit: A 50% deposit is required to secure your installation date on our schedule. Work will begin once the deposit has been processed.
  • Final Balance: The remaining 50% balance is due upon receipt of the final invoice once the project is fully completed.
  • 3. Accepted Payment Methods: We gladly accept Cash, Checks, and all major Credit/Debit Cards. Card payments can be made directly with our technicians on-site or securely online through the link in your electronic invoice.
  • 4. Past Due Accounts:
    • Grace Period: We understand life gets busy! We provide a 7-day grace period from the invoice date before a flat $25.00 late fee is applied to the balance.
    • Interest: Overdue balances will accrue interest at a standard rate of 1.5% per month (18% APR).
    • Scheduling Note: To maintain fairness to all customers on our route, future scheduled services (including seasonal winterizations) will be temporarily paused for any accounts with an outstanding balance beyond 15 days.

2. Service Conditions & Property Access: To ensure our technicians can perform their work safely and efficiently, we kindly request the following cooperation:

  • Property Access: Homeowners must provide our technicians with clear access to the property, the irrigation controller (timer), and the main water shut-off valve at the scheduled time.
  • Safety & Pets: If your pets are friendly to newcomers around the property, please feel free to let them say hello! For the safety of our team and your animals, if your pet(s) are uncomfortable with newcomers, please keep them indoors during our visit. We are more than willing to work with customers needing to let their pet(s) out for potty breaks etc. Just let us know!

3. Liability & Property Protections

  • Underground Utilities: We will contact local utility locating services (such as Montana 811) for major excavation work. However, we are not responsible for damage to unmarked, privately installed underground lines (such as private invisible dog fences, landscape lighting wires, or detached garage power lines). We ask that customers communicate with us upfront if there are any privately installed components that need to be avoided. 
  • Pre-Existing Conditions: We are not liable for failures, leaks, or damages caused by pre-existing plumbing issues, sub-standard original installations by other contractors, or poor baseline water pressure.
  • Restoration: Sprinkler installation and repair naturally require digging. While our technicians take great care to cleanly cut and replace sod, some settling or temporary lawn discoloration is normal. Final landscape restoration beyond standard backfilling/tamping/seeding is the homeowner's responsibility unless specified in writing.

4. Warranty & Seasonal Maintenance

  • Workmanship Warranty: We provide a 1-year warranty on parts and labor for new components installed by our team. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and installation errors.
  • Exclusions: Our warranty explicitly excludes damage caused by lawnmowers, roots, vehicle traffic, external physical damage, or acts of God (such as severe weather or pests).
  • Freeze & Winter Damage: Proper seasonal maintenance is required. We are not liable for freeze cracks, broken backflow preventers, or manifold damage if the client fails to schedule a proper winter blow-out service prior to the first hard freeze, or if the client turns the water supply back on prematurely in the spring.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect: We only collect information that you voluntarily provide to us to facilitate your services. This includes:

  • Contact Information: Your name, physical service address, billing address, phone number, and email address.
  • Payment Details: Payment information processed securely through our third-party merchant processors (we do not store your raw credit card numbers on our internal systems).
  • Service History: Information regarding your specific irrigation system, lawn layout, and past service notes.

2. How We Use Your Information: We use your information strictly to operate our business and serve you. This includes:

  • Scheduling your appointments, activations, repairs, and winter blow-outs.
  • Sending invoices, payment reminders, and receipts.
  • Sending service reminders (such as text or email reminders to schedule your seasonal winterization).
  • Responding to your questions or quote requests.

3. Information Sharing & Third Parties: We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information is only shared with trusted service providers necessary to run our business, including:

  • Our field service management and invoicing software (e.g., Jobber).
  • Our secure payment processing gateways.
  • Communication tools used to send your automated text and email notifications.

4. Text Message (SMS) Privacy: If you opt-in to receive text messages from us (such as appointment reminders, job updates, or text-to-pay links):

  • Your phone number and SMS consent will never be shared with third parties or affiliates for promotional purposes.
  • You can reply "STOP" to any text message at any time to opt-out of future text communications.

5. Security of Your Information: We take the security of your personal data seriously. We utilize secure, industry-standard software platforms with built-in encryption to protect your contact and payment details from unauthorized access.

6. Updates to This Policy: We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or services. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
